Museum Membership Benefits
Considering becoming a member of the Lincoln County Historical Museum or donating a financial gift? Museum members and donors are the backbone of the museum. Their financial support and dedication to the museum provides the foundation needed for the museum to pursue its mission.
Your museum membership dues and gifts are used to restore and maintain the numerous structures at the museum, creating exhibits, bringing humanities speakers to the museum, and in many more ways.
What are some of the benefits of becoming a member of the LCH Society:
- You receive the Society’s quarterly newsletter Plains Talk, which keeps you informed on upcoming museum events, museum happenings, regional historical anecdotes, and much more.
- You receive free admission to the museum.
- You receive invitations to special museum events.
- Your membership is tax deductible.
With a museum membership or gift, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping the Lincoln County Historical Museum grow and develop as a cultural center capable of educating the public about the region’s history.
To give a financial gift, you can simply send a check with a note about your donation directly to the Lincoln County Historical Museum. You can also contribute to our endowment at the Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation. All you have to do is send your check to the foundation with a note saying who the money is for and they will add it to the museum’s account. Both ways are tax deductible.
